Havaş's European subsidiary Havaş Europe shook hands with Turkish Airlines and Air Europa at Munich Airport and Alitalia and Brussels Airlines at Hamburg Airport in Germany, and UTAir Ukraine at Riga Airport in Latvia. In this context, ticket sales for Air Europa have started in Munich. The passenger and operation services for Turkish Airlines at this airport will also be provided by Havaş Europe. The company will begin providing services for Alitalia and Brussels Airlines in Hamburg as from the end of this month. UTAir Ukraine has also preferred Havaş Europe at Riga, the capital of Latvia.

Havaş General Manager Nurzat Erkal stated: “While we expand our nationwide operation with Havaş, we are also achieving a significant acceleration of growth through our subsidiary Havaş Europe. We continue expanding our portfolio in Germany and Latvia where we also operate overseas, with our service at international standards, which is based on the principle of customer satisfaction. As Havaş Europe, our goal is to increase the number of flights we provide service for in Germany and Latvia by 14 per cent with new agreements we make with airlines.”

Founded by Havaş in North Europe with the strategy of expanding to the international market and becoming a global brand, Havaş Europe currently operates at Riga Airport in Latvia, and at Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin Tegel, Hamburg, Stuttgart and Düsseldorf airports in Germany. Havaş Europe provided service to approximately 50 thousand flights in 2013.
