Turkish carrier Pegasus Airlines is to write off the Boeing 737-800 involved in a runway excursion at Trabzon airport on 13 January.
According to a report given by Boeing and CFM International to the relevant insurance company, the aircraft (TC-CPF) will be scrapped.
It suffered substantial damage after departing the runway during landing and tipping over a cliff slope, losing one of its engines in the process.
All 162 passengers and six crew members survived the accident. The aircraft was delivered new to Pegasus in 2012.
