Standing out with the projects undertaken at the Middle East and Gulf Region, TAV Construction is named the world’s largest company of 2016 in airport construction. Having been listed as the top company for three years in a row, the total contract value of the projects TAV Construction has undertaken so far has exceeded $18.5 bln.
Having become one of the leaders of the sector in a short period following a rapid growth through the projects it realized in Turkey and in the countries within the region, TAV Construction secured its place as the world’s largest company in airport construction sector. One of the respectable publications of the construction sector, Engineering News Record (ENR) has announced the world's largest construction companies based on the projects they undertook in 2016. Being the only Turkish company listed in "Transportation" category amongst the top 30 companies, TAV hit the top in "airport" category in 2016, following 2014 and 2015.

Whilst the total contract value of the projects the company has undertaken so far has exceeded $18.5 bln, TAV Construction completed Istanbul Atatürk, Ankara Esenboğa, Izmir Adnan Menderes and Gazipaşa-Alanya airports projects in Turkey.
TAV Construction's overseas projects are Doha Airport in Qatar, Tbilisi and Batumi airports in Georgia, Enfidha-Hammamet Airport in Tunisia, Skopje and Ohrid airports in Macedonia, and also Cairo Airport Terminal 3 Project in Egypt, Madinah Airport and Riyadh Airport Terminal 5 Project in Saudi Arabia.
Additionally, the Abu Dhabi Airport Midfield Terminal Complex in United Arab Emirates, Bahrain Airport New Terminal Building, Jeddah Airport SAEI Aircraft Maintenance Hangars, and Runway and Infrastructure Works at Muscat Airport in Oman are some of the ongoing projects undertaken by TAV Construction.
Besides airport construction, TAV Construction also builds intelligent buildings that require utilization of high technologies. The company's important projects in this field are Marina-101 Hotel and Residences, one of the tallest buildings in the region with a height of 425 meters, and Damac Towers by Paramount, which consists of 4 towers reaching a height of 279 meters, in Dubai. The company's ongoing building projects are General Directorate Building of Aéroport de Paris Group at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, the capital of France, and Emaar Square project in Istanbul.
