Unidentified unmanned aerial vehicle shot down in Turkish airspace

Ankara, Oct 16 (DHA) - Turkish Military announced an unmanned aerial vehicle of an unidentified nation has been shot down near the Syria-Turkey border, on Oct. 16.
 
"Today, an aerial vehicle of unknown nationality has been detected inside our airspace on the Syrian border, and when it continued its movement despite being warn three times, our aircrafts on patrol mission on the border fired and shot down the vehicle within the rules of engagement"  announced the Turkish General Staff on their website.
 
"Turkish Armed Forces is executing its tasks with determination within the rules of engagement" the military added in the statement.
 
IS IT AN ORLAN-10?
 
According to the military resources, the UAV shut by Turkish F-16's was an Orlan-10. With maximum take off weight 15 kg Orlan-10 could fly 15 hours.
